☕ Morning fam, Lots of activity as the region struggles to move past Kim Gardner who refuses to go quietly. The biggest takeaway? Things shouldn’t have gotten to this point… and the reason things did is because black leaders adhere to a code of silence, no diff than police refusing to hold their own accountable. They didn’t hold Reed, Boyd or Muhammad accountable that’s why it took the feds. And they didn’t hold Kim Gardner accountable despite many, many, many warnings about her incompetence/ineptness, that’s why the process to remove her has taken years.
